WORKER ORIENTED TRAINING 

   The Sheet Metal Worker translates the theories of science into the practical realities of new equipment and various uses of metal in our everyday life.

   The work requires specialized training. It requires dexterity, mechanical ability, problem solving skills and the ability to get along with others.

 

MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY

    Sheet Metal Workers build, install, and service HVAC equipment. They also design, fabricate and install ductwork and associated devices.

  Since the invention of air conditioning Sheet Metal Workers led the industry in the development of duct construction, standards and specifications.

 

MATERIALS AND METALLURGY
